It may deteroriate and lose its luster. Do not use a scrubbing brush or polishing powder as it may cause scratches. Do not use in a dishwasher or microwave oven. After use, wash with hot or cold water and wipe with a soft cloth. When using for the first time, apply dishwashing detergent to the sponge and wash & rinse.
